Ingredients
225g unsalted butter, softened
225g caster sugar
170ml Carnation Condensed Milk
350g self-raising flour, sifted
175g chocolate – we used Mini Eggs but you can use anything kind you like, go wild!
A few sheets cling film
Method
In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until pale and smooth.
Pour in the condensed milk and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.
Add the flour, a little at a time and mixing as you go. Chop your chocolate into chunks and add to your dough.
Once everything is combined and the chocolate is evenly spread, empty the dough onto a flat surface and divide into two balls.
Roll each ball of dough into a long sausage shape and wrap with cling film nice and tightly. Pop into the freezer for at least one hour.
Just before you’re ready to bake, pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Using a sharp knife, cut the frozen cookie dough into 8 equal chunks, per roll. Using lined baking trays, bake your cookies for 12-15 minutes until just golden brown.
Happy Valentines!
Love, P&B.
